Post any comments, criticisms, opinions, or complaints as to how to improve the Hip 64 tournament next year. If you approve of someone's idea, make a mention of your support.
P.S. Complaints about song selection should be posted in the Relegation thread.

Hehe, first vote!
Absolutely loved this Shane. I'd love to see it continue in any way, shape or form.
My thoughts immediately spring to a possible play off between the albums, top three or four going through... or possibly a 'side project' competition with the finalists going into the Hip 64.
EDIT: geez, my typing is atrocious! Corrected now though

As I posted in the other thread...
Just a thought, but maybe for the next time we do this, the reigning champion won't partake in the round of 64, and instead defend the belt against the winner of the tournament of 64 songs.. might add a little more drama/fun to it.

Shane, I loved the match up, although it didn't make me visit the base anymore since I'm around at least once a day, so I'd just see the thread and make my vote. But it was a highlight of my visit while it was running.
I hope it happens again.

Great Job! Had a blast voting and hoping…
Only thing I would add is that perhaps we retire the winner to the Hallowed Halls of Hipdom (designed for ten and ten only) and maybe eliminate all of the songs that lost in the first round (by 60 or 70%) so that new material can be added??
edit: just saw this

I voted yes. I had stopped visiting every day. I started again when the tourney started.

I pretty much forgot about the Hipbase when one day I wandered back. Luckily, this was the second day of [Hip 64]! So needless to say, I have been coming back to the hipbase every day since.
I liked the idea of extended matchups for the final and possibly semis. Like instead of 24 hrs, we should do 48.

I voted no because I generally check in daily anyways, but definitely it was the first posting I would look for every evening. I thought it was great and would love to see it again. Thanks Shane.

i loved it shane...i checked it all the time and had a ton of fun with it..here's my little suggestion...perhaps we could at some point do a Hip Bootleg 64.....battle of the boots....great way to increase interest in the tracker, and spread some more boots that people might not have/be aware of...
