Well, other than the three Cups and the Olympic gold medal.

A washed-up Yzerman walks away from Team Canada, putting his country ahead of his ego.
A washed-up Roenick threatens to cheer for another country if he's not on Team USA, putting his ego ahead of his country.

I think there's a few guys who should move over on the US team and give there spots up. I'm thinking of Roenick, Amonte, Chelios and maybe even Guerin.

Yeah, good 'ol JR. He's a tool alright, but he is entertaining. With Brett Hull retired, who else would we kick around after making outlandish comments? Sure there's JR's teammate, Avery, but he's just stupid. JR is at least funny or entertaining a lot of the time, Avery's just a dumbass.
But JR's crack about "cheering for Team Canada" if he doesn't make Team USA is just ridiculous. I don't believe he'd do that for a second... but really, why the hell would you say something that ridiculous in the first place? I think JR's had too many concussions... the few remaining brain cells he has must have rattled around too much, that's why he said what he said today.

I'm not sure how Sean Avery even garners media attention....he is NOT a good player...he's a complete fringe man, I don't think he'd even be in the Show if the league had the 23 or so teams that they should be down to.
It really bugs me when this guy gets any coverage....I'll give him credit for doing the Alisha Cuthbert though...that's nice work regardless of whether he's a dink!!!
As far as JR goes...I think he should be there, ass or otherwise. He has put in his time and there aren't too many players that are much better than him in the US, or more importantly, have the International experience to contribute.
Besides the US isn't gonna make it to the Top 4 anyways...
Canada
Russia
Czech Rep
Finland
In that order...lick it stick it stamp it.

I thought cferneyh's original post was going to be something nice and sweet like
Yzerman = Classy
Roenick = Douche
Something like that. Anyway, that's pretty much the summary.

Roenick
Gotta admit, I never really liked the guy a ton, but he has made me laugh out loud a few times.
Once during palyoffs against the Leafs and they showed him on the bench singing along with Run DMC's "Tricky"
The other, just a couple weeks back in Nashville (I think?) dancing on the ice to KC and the Sunshine Band's "Get Down Tonight"
