Anyone else gotten into Lost? I was hooked last year, but now with the 1st season DVD and year two unfolding every week it has taken over as my latest addiction. There are dozens of forums dedicated to the show....
So, let's have your best guess as to what the f%$* is going on on that island?
I still think the lostaways are/were a part of some experiment that the goverment((s) Worldly and otherwise) are trying to cover up. There is a clear indication that coincidences (numbers) occured prior to the crash that links each of these people in some way but your guess is as good as mine.

My girlfriend got me into it actually, my 3rd episode tonight. I don't know what's going on...they're wandering around and find this underground bunker where this guys takes a few people hostage? I don't quite get it..and those flashbacks are retarded..
It's nice to see charlie back on t.v though.

I freakin LOVE this show. I didn't see a single episode when it originally aired, but thanks to the magic of DVDs, I just finished watching the entire 1st season. Great show. Weird, but very cool. It's like the X-Files on an island. I'm hooked!

So this is the reverse of what we heard him say last week... and it's crazy.
OK - I still do not get it.
Is he saying "where's the button" and then the same thing in reverse?
I just started watching the repeats this summer - cool show.

The second episode didn't answer many questions, but gave us a few things to consider.....like the logo from inside the hatch on the shark? that freaked me out. I need to start taping the show each week, once is not enough to get all the quirks. It is very similar to Twin Peaks, I've said that from the start.
However; I do not think they have the entire show written. On the extras dvd they describe how the show was written in a week, it was picked up by ABC based on a 30 something page draft outline, and the pilot was filmed all too quickly to have mapped out the details we are given each week. (aside> it is the most expensive pilot in television history too).
The creator of LOSt is JJ Abrams...he also creataed Alias.

BIG fan of the show here, started watching it about midway through the first season. Very X-Files meets Twin Peaks (it's been said before).
The possibilities are endless in terms of plot, let's hope they don't fuck it up!

Just got into it and I'm hooked.
This will hold me over until 24 and The Shield get back in action.
And NHL Hockey of course!
