Paul Langlois-Mike Bossy (quiet but deadly)

Downie- Maurice Richard: Graceful, quiet, subdued, a born leader off the ice. Inspriring, all energy and intensity on the ice.
Sinclair- Mark Messier: gets his fair share of credit, but still always seen as the number 2 man. However, like the Moose, much of the Hip's success is owed to him.
Langlois- Petr Forseberg. Always able to get the job done, a real team player. Give him a solid centreman, and he's HOF material.
Baker- Jerome Iginla: Very talented, very friendly, just seems to be enjoying his way through life, living it the way he always wished he could.
Fay- Lionel Conacher: Canada's athlete of the half century in 1950. A pro at football, baseball, hockey and wrestling. He was multi-talented, just like Johnny. Always reliable.

Torontocentrism! Here's my all leafs version, 80's-present day...
Gord Downie- Wendel Clark...The unquestioned leader...Saddled with injury, or voice issues as his career went on as the case may be, but comes up largest in the largest situations.
Bobby Baker-Ed Olczyk...consistand performer, sometimes overlooked because he team was ass (this is where he and Baker differ) but could be counted on for giving 110%....also my childhood hero.
Paul Langois- Mike Gartner...Once again, overshadowed by Gilmour and Andreychuk, could always be counted on for a clutch goal, or backup vocals, when needed
Gord Sinclair- Doug Gilmour...The glue.
Johnny Fay- Bryan McCabe...a bit edgy, out of control, but you can't question the effort, unless of course he throws up a -5 in game 5 of the eastern conference semis.
i know there's only one defenceman, but wendel was drafted as a D-man, so he'll do what it takes to help the team win.
