For those that have been lucky enough to get tickets:
Didn't you have to put in the name of the person picking up the tickets at the time of purchase? I thought that was the point. I thought that was done to make it (almost) impossible to scalp these tickets. That way, only the person named at the time of purchase could pick up the tickets, as they entered the venue.
At most, you could scalp one ticket, and accompany the person willing to pay the big bucks. I doesn't make any sense if you can buy the tickets, and then, at some later date, enter the name of the person who will be entering the venue. Does it?

$1000 for tickets, eh?.... I probably have a gun laying around here somewhere so I'd just need to buy some bullets which can be bought for much much much less than $1000.... but that's just me; a penny-pincher.

I sent an email to The Hip...not that they can do anything about this anyway likely...but I thought I'd bring it to their attention, incase they wanted to implement a few new rules to TM for more upcoming shows.

I just spoke to Ebay directly via Live Chat, and the guy said this seller is in violation of the ticket policy. He is forwarding the auction number and seller information to Safe Harbor right away. Wouldn't surprise me if the listing was removed shortly.
I hate to be the bad guy, but the seller was looking to make huge bucks of tickets that cost him a fraction of the price. I can understand making a few bucks, but come on now...

so i left a message for the jerk selling his tix for 1000 bucks..he has the nerve to email me back saying.."i'll have a great time with my money, have a wonderful day..".i hope karma kicks this guy in the ass
