"Its a good life if you don't weaken" was my grad quote though... lol
even though im pretty sure the song intends the opposite

My first thought was that in an ideal tournament I wouldn't want to see either of these songs make it to the 2nd round. But once I listened to both, I realized that these are probably two of the best examples of the Hip's celebration of mildly obscure Canadiana, and that made it harder to choose.
You don't see an Eric's Trip reference every day, that's for sure.

Personally, I just don't "get" Put It Off. It is too repetitive for my taste. I'm not preaching, I'm just saying what I don't like.
I guess I equate the comparison of these two songs to which of the two I would like to hear live, or which of the two I would like to hear driving home from work. And the winner is...

It's a good life is one hell of a song.
IVL is one hell of an Album. Shows that they aren't scared to make the music THEY wanna make.
