Anyone see it?
Jenna and I did, and it's very powerful, and very creepy. Exactly what I expect from Joel & Ethan Coen. It has one of the best "villains" of all time, imo. Plenty of suspense and action, and excellent acting, direction, and cinematography. But be warned: there's lots of graphic violence.
I did not read the book, though I do like Cormac McCarthy. Reading it first may help in absorbing the finale.
I highly recommend the film whether you read the book or not.

seen the preview when i rented the John cusack/Sam L Jackson flick, and Ya i thought wow this film is a must see

Brilliant film! By far the best thriller I've seen in a while. Javier Bardem should get an Oscar for that performance. He was creepy as hell. Tommy Lee Jones was awesome as well.

I saw it with friend who fell asleep half way into the film. I can totally understand why some people may find the film boring. Personally I loved the slow pace of the film and the simple dialogue. It felt like Texas.
The ending. Well, this is America. Things can only end one way.

There's very little negative criticism from me. As far as the filmmaking goes, I'd risk to say that it was flawless. Perfect pace, gripping and suspenseful; it never lost focus. As far as the plot goes, it's up to the viewer's interpretation. It's a very existential peice, so I can see people being thrown by its construction.
