strange how Kevala and Lord Brazle both re-appeared on the same day, after long absences, coincidence?

Maybe he finally escaped from her basement.

I think not; here is my logic:
2+2=5
1 Nirvana Skin Beater = 1 Crooked Vulture
Kevala = Lord Brazle
Nuff said.

I didn't find the IBE tour to be unispired. I thoroughly enjoyed the two shows I saw on that tour.
"That Night in Toronto" IBE 2004 tour - VERY INSPIRED/INSPIRING!!!

The way Hip shows are performed, they might as well be dubbed "Gord Downie and Friends" anyways.

What??????????????
And do you say this about every band that has a frontman?
I was mostly joking, but it
was in reference to the way Gord performs in comparison to frontmen of other bands.
I'm not sure if it's the Hip you haven't seen live, or
other bands, but it shouldn't be too hard to understand what I was referring to. I'll give one example though, from my last Hip show:
Rob Baker was in the middle of having a fantastic solo that I was finding really engaging when Gord decided it would be a good moment to start ranting to the crowd about something (of course I have nothing against Gord rants, those are usually my favourite parts of the show). My point is, Bobby didn't even get a chance to finish his solo it seemed, it ended up going nowhere and anyone whose attention was directed towards him was instantly drawn back to the center-of-attention at a Hip show, Gord Downie. Maybe it's the just the way I was brought up (no interrupting someone when they're speaking!) or maybe it's the way I think of Bobby's guitar solos as his voice, but I found it 'unsportsmanlike' and for a split second there found myself wishing Gord would put a lid on it. :oops:

I agree with the sentiment of Gord taking attention away from Rob's solos. I especially noticed this on the WC tour. While it was fun stuff, the mic stand fighting/riding/dismantling, along with all of the other shenanigins always happened during the best solos. But during the WATS shows, I noticed, actually my gf pointed out to me, that Rob doesn't seem to WANT the spotlight. Both metaphorically or literally. He's back in his dark corner, just straight-up playing. That's okay. He seems happy justbeing awesome. Let Gord dance with his hanky, and climb into the crowd. If you want an awesome guitarist who also lovesthe spotlight, go see Mike and Pearl Jam!
