Thanks for all the positive feedback, I really appreciate it. My wife gave me a bit of a hard time for being on the computer most of Sunday afternoon but I had fun creating the collage and I'm glad to hear that a few people found it entertaining.

The album has so many great songs and I tried to capture some of the unique beats and riffs. I occasionally adjusted the levels to highlight some of my favourite parts like Paul's vocals on Lake Fever, the bass on TrainOvernight and the guitar and drums at the end of Sharks.

I may have another mix for Up To Here and perhaps Day For Night. If I can find them, I'll post them.

M@W as an album is one of my favourites. Although, I have always thought that the song "Music at Work" stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the other tracks.
Also, I could never figure out why the song "Stay" was never released as a single. From my first listen of M@W I figured that "Stay" would be a big radio single... but it wasn't even released. Too bad, I think it would have been a nice follow up to the success of "Music at Work".

Great stuff - the medley is excellent. Always liked M@W a lot myself, and The Completists is a track I always put on Hip mix CDs for the car. (Obviously Lake Fever and Puttin' Down go on there as well by default ... :? ). Almost pooped when I heard that they were sound checking Freak Turbulence on the last tour - thought we may get it in Amsterdam but it wasn't to be. Maybe next time .

EDIT: From Wiki: (M@W) "is acclaimed by critics and fans as one of the band's best albums". So there.

I threw M@W on the other day as I was needed some "real" Hip after listening to WATS for so long (where's the tongue in cheek smiley?). What a great album. I remember seeing them on this tour and they busted out Stay for the encore, which was so sweet to hear live.

I view M@W as an experimental album, much like TATH or WATS. They tried new things, most of it worked. I'm not a big fan of Toronto #4 or Stay, but the rest of the album is solid. I think this is one of Johnny's best albums - just listen to the drums on The Completists or Train Overnight and tell me otherwise! Definitely an underrated Hip album.

Agree with most of the comments thus far. I've always enjoyed this album and wondered why more songs didn't get played. I'm very happy to see Tiger the Lion whipped out for the first two nights of this tour. I think that's a fantastic song. MAW, Lake Fever, Putting Down, The Completists, Freak, Stay, As I Wind... are all solid tunes that I can listen to anytime anywhere.

Music @ Work is defintely one of my top 5 Hip albums. It's such a diverse album and deserves more attention from the band when they're making up their setlist. Here is my attempt at highlighting the album in just over 7 minutes.

So many people think this and IVL are their lowpoint, but I love Music @ Work. Phantom Power is the one that never appealed to me after buying/selling it twice.....til a few weeks ago when I re-bought it again (used), and now I see it's charm. It's cleaner than M@W, but I'd say M@W has higher highs, but also lower lows. The end part of Stay......all the 'balancing' lyrics.....really elevates that song for me. Tiger The Lion is flat-out epic. Never hear much talk about Wild Mountain Honey, but I really love that one also. The Bear is beautiful, as is Pines. Freak doesn't do much for me tho. Awesome album overall.
