Wilco in Canada

Just back from the show, and it was freakin' incredible! That was probably the best show I've seen them play. The band was tight as hell, and Tweedy really seemed to be enjoying himself. Ending the show with "Monday" absolutely brought the house down. Don't know the exact setlist, but here's what I remember: (except for the first and last song, none of these are in order)

Handshake Drugs
Muzzle of Bees
I Am Trying to Break Your Heart
Jesus, etc.
I'm the Man Who Loves You
Hummingbird
Forget the Flowers
A Shot in the Arm
Heavy Metal Drummer
Kingpin
Misunderstood
Wishful Thinking
Airline to Heaven
At Least That's What You Said
Spiders (Kidsmoke)
The Late Greats
Theologians
Monday

They also played a couple of songs I didn't recognize, so I'm guessing those were new ones. They sounded amazing! Man, what an awesome show. I'm still buzzing!

Just got home too. Great show. 2 encores. Tweedy was rocking broken feet. Kidsmoke blew my mind, Misunderstood was a close second. Go see them if they come to your town.

It was a great, great show. Tons of energy. It was the first time I've seen them with the drummer that joined during Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Holy crap he is amazing. I don't think I've ever seen drumming like that.

I think one of the new songs is called "Walken".

Glenn's incredible. I loved watching him behind the kit last night, pretty awesome. I saw him do his solo stuff live a few months ago when he opened for Jeff's solo shows. He can make some pretty crazy music with those drums.

I wish I was up in Edmonton for tonight's show, it was such a blast last night. Anyone out east that has a chance to go to this tour should do themselves a favor and go check it out.

We never did get rid of both of the spare tickets either. Finally gave up trying to give them away and tacked them up on a bullitin board right outside the doors. Can't believe that I have friends that actually passed on the tickets! Some people just don't know what they're missing.
