Call the babysitter! This makes up for them skipping Cow-town during the Ghost is Born tour. We'll likely get a sneak listen to some of the material they are going to record for the new album.

I'm sure we will here some new ones. I can't wait, I've seen Jeff solo twice in the last 2 years and I can't wait to see the full band again. :thumb:

Anyone need tickets to the show tomorrow night in Calgary. It looks like we might have 2 left over.

If so, gimmie an email as I won't be able to check this board from work.

Can't wait for the show. 8)
I'm super excited. I caught Jeff Tweedy at the Calgary Folkfest last summer, but it's been a while since I've seen the full band. I think the last time was 2002 in Toronto. First time I ever saw them live was ARA '97 in Camrose, back in the Jay Bennett days. They absolutely blew my mind that day and I've been a huge fan ever since. Tomorrow night should be a blast!
Saw them at the Commodore in Vancouver in 99 I think it was. I wasn't as into them then as I am now, but it was a great show. I remember they started with four songs from the Mermaid Avenue CDs and someone yelled out "play some fuckin' Wilco!"

Jeff Tweedy looked out and said: OK!

Incidentally a colleague of mine was in Chicago today and sent me an email from her BlackBerry to let me know that the band was on her return flight. First time I've regretted passing off a business trip!

Wasn't that ARA in High River when Wilco was along? Either way, it was a great show then. I haven't seen the full band for awhile either. I've been trying to get my fix at solo Tweedy shows, last year at the Folk fest and then in Vancouver more recently. But the full band is a rockin good time. Can't wait. :jump

ARA '95 was in High River and featured Blues Traveler and Ziggy Marley. The '97 version had Wilco, Sheryl Crow, Los Lobos, etc... I still have the posters for all three ARAs. One of these days I'm gonna get 'em all framed.
