Do the flames jerseys actually have those flags on the shoulders?!

Maybe they'll vary depending on the player's country? That would be sort of neat, albeit still ugly, and rather depressing given that most of the players aren't Canadian anyway.
I was mostly referring to the player's hourglass figure - is that the beauty ideal that NHL players are going to have to aspire to, now?

The patches are for the TEAM, not the player. They want to represent the province and the country the team is in. As much as I hate the Flames (being an Oilers fan) I see no problems with the patches.

I just think they stick out and are ugly. The blue Alberta flag doesn't mesh with the team colours at all. And since when is the C on the away jerseys black? I must have missed that one, but I don't like it.
New Oilers jerseys will be unveiled Saturday. I don't expect many changes.
