TLB said this the other day:

----

doors @ 8pm - TTH advertised the show with special guests

usually opener is on by 930 and plays about 40mins

the commodore then lets folks drink up for at least an hour

main act usually is on by 1130 and ends around 1am or so

OK, Thanks. I kinda think they'll be on around 10:30-11. I called the Commodore earlier and it's just a recording . I think I will call around 6pm as there should be some one there by then. I've tried to find the time before for the main act for a couple other shows and they do answer the phones.

Anyways I think I'll have lots of time before they go on.

Have fun everyone! I'm pumped. Been blasting the Hip all day!

Either Sam Roberts or Stripper's Union.

That's my guess.

Are you serious? I've been out of town so didn't know that.
Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I'll be heading in sooner.

Sam Roberts is opening for sure. I heard them talking about it on the Fox on my way home from work just now.

This night keeps getting better and better! Smile

I'll be at the show. Was at the Sam Roberts show last night and went off really well - K-os on stage for "Bridge to Nowhere" - maybe that's an idea for opener. Stranger things have happened.

I'll be the one rocking out, you won't miss me. Or...

Urrrrch..........as I slam on the breaks! Plans will be changing now. Will be there early! How cool is it to see the #1 band in Canada at the #1 venue in Canada (or North America I should say and possibly beyond!)

Sam Roberts.......are you kidding me! I saw them when the Hip had them as a back up when their very first single was out. I saw them at the Queen E. I was impressed. This is going to be a hell of a show.

PARTY GUYS!!!!!! Have a good time!!!!!!!
