excellent! Chhris, can you sort me with a username/password??

[Zenith]

This sounds great! I'm really excited to hear what's been produced (especially Matt's vocal track! 8) - Nice one! :thumb I will try and add something, but I'll have to see how it goes. My girlfriend's going to try and get her bass guitar back from her parents house. Once we have that, I could well be in as position to contribute.

Chris, would I still be able to get a username and password to hear what's been added so far?

[MattyM]

trust me man, you don;t wanna get excited about the vocals

I admire you for even trying! :thumb: I know how daunting it can be to sing (or in my case try and sing) in front of people, so I'm impressed you volenteered to do it. I'm sure you've done a great job.

[MattyM]

Cheers buddy (for that I definitely owe you a drink when the Hip come over again - I take it you'll be going)

Sounds like a plan to me. :thumb:

Does the Pope crap in the woods?!

That's a "Yes, I'll be there for sure!" incase anyone was wondering...

[MattyM]

should be a good time, especially if some more of the guys from here come across too... board meet up/drink fest sounds like a plan to me!

[MattyM]

For those of you with hardy ear drums, my vocals are now up on the site. Please ignore the mumbled copies of Gord's improv... they're only there to aid in the timing of things...

I'll be working on a better version oif the vocals as soon as I get a decent mike, or sooner if this is considered a usable audio... I'm happy to do any more 'campfire' numbers anyone fancies having a crack at.

[Ballgame]

Awesome Matt, good job! Seriously you did a good job. Dayum learn Membership! Haha. Are there any other songs you would be willing to sing? There are a handful of songs I could play.

[Ballgame]

here are some songs Id be willing to try. If anyone wants me to do one let me know.

Three Pistols
Fight
Courage
Locked In The Trunk Of A Car
Wheat Kings
So Hard Done By
Emergency
Scared
Gift Shop
Lets Stay Engaged
Vapour Trails
NOIS (easy, could knock this off fast). Steve you play the lead or Robs part?

Some are harder than others and my drum machine can only do so much haha. Like Fight is easy to play but the hard to ge the right sound with the drum machine.

[MattyM]

Thanks for your kind words guys... this is really good fun, I'm enjoying it immensely! Maybe we should try and get tour support

Wheat Kings is definitely one I'd love to have a crack at, and I'm sure there are more than a few others... I'd just have to give it some time learning the words. I like Gift Shop too. Bobcaygeon is a given...

[Ballgame]

I think its first come first serve. we all have different schedules so if you (anyone) can contribute then just do it. No sense in waiting unless someone really wants to do a song and lets us know. Its fun so I think momentum is key to this project haha.
I have tomorrow off so maybe I'll try giftshop or Wheat Kings.

I hope when you guys are done this project that you release it for all to hear. I am really interested. My buddies and I have been slowly learning to play guitar and we always sit around jamming the hip, but we are terrible, so I'm not even gonna offer my services, but it makes me that much more intrigued to hear you guys.

I cant wait, good on you gus for doing it!!

[MattyM]

I cant wait, good on you gus for doing it!!

Now that sentence gives me an idea for a vocal I might put down on Sunday

[Ballgame]

the first thing that popped in my head was Gus the Polar Bear because of the spelling error haha
