Johnny In London
#16

Im thinking it must be a technical problem.
If it was Johnny, would they have a roadie sub in for him?

Just saw a post on Facebook from someone whose cousin manages Budweiser Gardens saying that all the guys and their friends and family were in the backstage bar til 2am including Johnny.

Probably just decided to cut it short by one song because of how hot it was in there. Probably the 2nd hottest indoor show I've ever been to, so I can't even imagine what it was like on stage under the lights and everything.

OK, been trying hard to get updates. Now heard he's been released from hospital and shows will go on. Again this is all second hand.

Where are you getting this from? It's coming across as an inappropriate crock of shit unless you can somehow explain (don't have to give out names) or validate your claim!

Hopefully, the source is Facebook, where they think Rob Baker is the drummer :what

If its all second hand then fuck off with it, no reason to post it here.

For all we know he just had to go out and take a "fiddlers green" I also heard the band were at the Arena bar until 2 am. No hospital admission for Johnny. We should close this thread also.

I agree as well...shut this thread down. Just too much speculation. Cheers Hip Fans!

Yeah this thread does suck. 2006-07-07 - London, England on Johnny's birthday (is that all correct...?) is all the Johnny in London I need.

Anyone have that epic DVD?

Let's just post Johnny rocking hard in the London's here I stead.

I was at London show. I joined this forum specifically to try and find out what happened to Johnny. It felt really odd.
He missed the group bow, Gord's kissing all the band, and then to have FG without drums was odd.
It was a great show, Gord sounded strongest in the opening set, but the sound got worse as evening progressed. I wish they would have kept his voice well on top. Ending on Fiddlers green was probably more powerful than Little Bones. Lots of teary faces leaving the arena.

I don't entirely agree with shutting this thread down. What happened in London was very unusual maybe a first? Its unfortunate someone decided to post rumours, especially of a grave nature, without caring to do some homework. Frankly that's irresponsible. However in my humble opinion the thread should be part of the archive.

Yea- and as the one who started it and speculated nothing, I found it odd and it worried me. Hope no one is mad at me!
