I always wished The Hip would follow the pattern of bands who have a standard setlist most night but "slot' in a couple of different rarities each night. For example, they could open every show with Man/Grace/New O threesome and then hit with a different rarity for their forth song each show (Everytime You Go, Save The Planet, Cordellia, Inch an Hour, Last American Exit....etc). Then the next trio would be something like Poets/Human Mind/Bobcaygeon...then onto another rarity choice....etc. Hope that makes sense. Bottom line is if they played longer (say 2:30) the Hip could toss in a few album cuts...it's mostly the time constraint. I'm thinking this tour will be regulated to strictly 2 hour shows.
