Intimate venues are, well, more intimate but there's really nothing like The Hip rockin' the ACC. Home turf, hometown fans, history on display hanging from the rafters, there's almost a sense of sanctity and reverence not only for the band, but the atmosphere as well. For me anyway.

Not sure if they will ever play there again, but they did on 4th of July 1995 when they opened for Blues Traveler.

I can’t wait to see any show at Red Rocks; it’s been a goal of mine since watching U2’s Under a Blood Red Sky back in 1984.

I have seen the Hip at Pine Knob from the lawn. Was a GREAT time! Kind of hard to hear and see from there but what a party. That was the tour Kate was singing with them

I would really like to see them come to San Francisco. I'm about ready to just buy a ticket and fly myself out to see them. I don't think they'll ever come over my way.
