chris Wrote:Dana, did you ever stop to consider that maybe the internet is trying to prevent North Tonawandans from accessing it???
Come on Chris, that is why I moved 1/2 a mile north to Wheatfield.
Literally, North Tonawanda is across the street from me - I guess I never made it far from the nest. :thumb:

You can take the boy out of North Tonawanda, but you can't take the Tonawanda out of the boy!

I wish that I had something more constructive to offer in getting you sorted out, and connected to the site.

great looking site, but it's not remembering me either...

It took me a while of messing around for it to remember me, then I typed up a HUGE story for the Hip project, it took me about 45 mins, then when I clicked publish, it sent me to an error page on the site, therefor, im about 99% confident my story was deleted Cry
Either than that, the site looks GREAT :jump
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, MAv. The Hip Community sends you all of our thanks. You rock!

I logged in and it remembered me, then I was looking around and everytime I opened something it logged me out and forgot me. Stupid me forgot to keep that email from before...d-oh! I guess I should re-register then?

Unless MAv says otherwise, maybe it will sort itself out in a few days while its updating, just have to wait for now.

And it cant be said enough, love the site MAv, I think its great! :thumb:

MAv did say that the DNS needs to sort itself out, and that he's working on it... DNS can take up to a few days, so let's keep playing, and see how it goes.

I spoke to MAv, and it should just be a day or so.
Just like Chris said - the DNS has to get jiggy wit it.
When I log onto thehip.com - it does not remember me as I jump around pages - but when I use the IP address MAv gave me - it remembered me everywhere.
Just give it a day or two.

Try this: http://63.249.18.59/index.html

the DNS should be jiggy shortly, then I will start to deal. Until then . . . as they say . . . I'm pretty sure it will be good for almost everybody at that time, as long as people confirm their registration.

I will send out emails to those that have not done so in a couple of days. . .

MAv.

note: when the title on the page goes from -:: The Tragically Hip ::- to

The Tragically Hip :: Home, the DNS has changed. I'm guessing by the morning . . .
