Don't ask me...
The old coach who's name I won't attempt to spell, had an option system that doesn't work unless you have the right personel, and we didn't.
But it comes down to recruiting, and the cuse hasn't done a good job of that.

It seems they produce a few studs (McNabb, Bullock, Freeney) but in general, they can't consistantly produce depth.

I too think it is directly related to the growing difficulty of recruiting in the Big East resulting from its decline in stature as a football conference. And I fear it'll only get worse, since the schools with more prominent football programs (Miami, BC, VT) defected to the ACC.

The Big East are now the bottom-feeders of the BCS.

Unbelievable. Best football game I've ever seen (and I was pulling for the Irish). What a heartbreaker in the span of 2 plays.

Besides the bad 4th quarter, that field goal blunder to close the half was one of the worst coaching gaffs I've ever seen. A 10 pt. swing in the final ticks of the clock.

The Buckeyes played like crap. They didn't deserve to win, but somebody has to, I suppose.

At least you have a kick-ass QB. Stanton impressed the hell out of me.

That was just embaressing. Stanton is amazing. He makes everyone around him that much better.
