First Album you actually bought?

Great thread! I'm impressed by everyone's willingness to share this potentially embarrasing information. The first album (it was indeed vinyl) I bought...

I subsequently bought it, and the rest of the Queen catalog, on 8-track, cassette, and CD.

I bought Rush Roll the Bones and The Spin Doctors on the same day.

Who knew Rush would still rock so hard in 1991? Roll the Bones is such an awesome song and Dreamline is on the album as well, I believe. Bravado...Ghost of a Chance...what a great Rush album.

I bought these two on the same day... I still listen to James, because they're a brilliant band. I think I sold the Cool Runnings Soundtrack when I had to get my retainer fixed and needed some extra cash.

I really can“t remember my first album. Bet it was something embarassing though.

I liked Status Quo when I was little. I never bought any albums though, we already had records lying around the house...

I think Styx may have been my First album, or Seven and the Ragged Tiger, not too sure, it was along time ago.

First CD was The Alarm: Electric Folklore Live and Aerosmith: Rocks
