First vinyl was the Elvis 1968 Comeback Special. I bought it from Sam the Record Man on Yonge St in 1989 and can remember looking over every inch of it on the subway back to Finch, wishing that they had record players in cars. I was quite the Elvis fan back in my youth (and honestly, despite all the indie cred I pretend to have, I still really am).

I think my first tape might have been good old MC Hammer's "Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em".

First cd was Eric Clapton's Unplugged album. I got it the same day I got my first cd player.

Even as a kid I had a diverse taste in music

Cheers

For me it was Hysteria, along with Iron Maidens Piece of Mind at the same time...

It was 1992, I was 12, and I bought these two together with babysitting money:

Thank goodness one outweighed the other... and I still spin that EC record today.
