Oh yeah, she did. Shouldn't we know that for sure. Smile I blame old age.

That gig was three years ago tonight BTW. Creepy.

Yep, thanks. I'm just cataloging those as "Hip members joining other artists" as opposed to "artists joining The Hip." I think Ms. Harmer had Gord's help on "Silver Road" during the opening of every Harmer/Hip 2002 show I can find.

Yeah, I'm aware. I've got most of his contributions listed (including his most famous work)
You might want to edit out the part "His mural still stands".

I heard about that. Truly sad indeed.

What the hell? It's gone? What happened? Why was there no petition to sign?

Steve Berlin played sax on (I believe) So Hard Done By at either Barrie or Darien Lakes at ARA '97. Also, Master Hussein played tablas for an encore at Wetlands, NYC 7/25/98, Daredevil, ABAC and maybe one other song. He sat cross-legged on stage, so it was easy to miss

Ok,
I don't have dates OR names of songs played, but didn't Peter Garret from Midnight Oil join the boys for a few numbers during an ARA tour ('93 maybe?)
I might be wrong... anyone?

Depressing.

Thanks for the other info folks.

Although, cfern, I was in Chicago on the 19th, and I only recall Berlin playing sax?

And does anybody know if Mr. Hussein is a stage name?

Hilarious! I was there too. I saw three of the four shows.

Anyway, Victor Bisetti was standing beside Johnny. And if you listen to the boot (I did to verify), you can hear Gord introduce both guys (though people were applauding when Steve Berlin got introduced so you almost don't hear him say: "and Victor Bisetti").

Smile I guess the second hand high would've been getting to me at that point. Honestly, I didn't notice Bisetti at all.

I was dead centre, front row, in a white Team Canada jersey. I jumped up on stage after the show ended and grabbed the setlists. Did you talk to that big group of Canadians hanging around before the show? I think they all worked for Catapiller in Illinois IIRC and had made the trek. If you were near that group, I probably spoke to you at some point, I tried to say hi to everybody. Creepy.

I talked to various people throughout the three shows I was at, not to mention a few folks at the Gord Downie show there the next year, so it is tough to recall any specifics. :thumb: Damn that was a good time.

How about the kid that Gord invited up on stage to sing with him during the album release shows they did back in 2000?
Come on - he deserves some "props"
