Favorite song intro (musically)

Pigeon Camera has to be in there. Vaccination Scar, Three Pistols, and Gift Shop would be on the top of that list too.

Scar, 50MC and Little Bones are all honourable mentions, but the best intro has to be Courage.

tough call because there are so many good ones but my top 3 are:

1. Nautical
2. Put it Off
3. Last of the Unplucked Gems (the build up for this song when its played live is incredible)

Maybe I am a loner here, but i always loved the opening riff to "Trickle Down"........love that Stones sound, you can almost picture Keith on stage performing it with his little kick.........

Live: Three Pistols

Anywhere else: New Orleans or Hundredth

Grace & Gift Shop for sure. IBE has a bunch of cool intros...mainly due to how freaking great BB has those MM guitars sounding these days.....Gus...Copenhagen...Nashville....it's incredible..speaker-edible...

But Cordelia...c'mon, that's just genius....the little fingerpicked opening with the hi-hat behind verse I - promising the building sonic eruption......then the pause........

And what follows is one of the biggest, boldest, most relentless riffs Bobby ever devised.

damn that's good stuff.

it would absolutely have to be Escape is at Hand for the Travellin' Man for me.

and i would probably have to second Nautical Disaster as well as Live Poets

I was going to say this one!
My other picks would be from GD's solo album- Steeplechase and the Pillform's. I guess Grace, Too too (eh? eh?) if no one has said that yet.

New Orleans!!!!! No-brainer! The first 2 strums are phenomenal alone. It's a heavenly rich moment on earth when you find yourself coming across it on the radio or at a party or at a club.
