I'd argue with you, but I'm afraid of the consequences. Just kidding. I agree completely.

Well, I suppose if I were:

A). a Sabres fan

and, ...

B). Hailed from a town with the moniker the "2nd Mistake by the Lake"

I would also dig Dave Matthews. Again, "DMB" is for (as Bruce McCullough says about greatest hits CD's) "housewives and little girls".

OK that was just plain stupid. That's the best you could come up with? Wow.

I fully expected a response like that...hell I would've dished one out to someone had they posted the same thing.

Blackhawks-Joke
Cubs- Joke
White Sox- Joke
Bears- Joke

BTW, Nobody refers to Buffalo as the "2nd Mistake by the Lake". Your post was awful. I could verbally tear you a new asshole but your just not worth it.

Haven't the Hip said that picking a title is sometimes the hardest part of making an album? Perhaps a nice cup of tea would have made that easier.

Or maybe that had something to do with why the frankly disturbing-yet-cool cover photo for Trouble At the Henhouse seemed like such a good idea...

It is all a matter of opinion, you two hate them.....WE KNOW....just move on.

A-freaking-men.

If it were not for the ability of certain drugs to get the creative juices flowing, the entire Beatles catalogue from Revolver forward might have sounded completely different. Hell, the same goes for almost every great rock act as well - Zeppelin, the Stones, the Who, the Doors.....PINK FLOYD....I could go on and on and on and on and on.

And if all that music could have been so different [or completely non-existent , for that matter] without such 'influences', our beloved HIP may never even have EXISTED themselves. Methinks that these DMB critics are incredibly naive to the 'exploratory' nature of most artists and musicians.

I respect DMB, but would not consider myself much of a 'fan'. That said, Chancellor and Beanmedic, you criticism is absolutely ridiculous.

What did the DeadHead say when he finally came down and went to a concert straight?

Hey Neil Young,

The comment wasn't direct to you bud, and the things he said about Dave Matthews were completely ignorant and juvenile.

Agreed. Most people I know refer to it as "The Other Mistake by the Lake", but I tend to call it Firetown.

We do have more than our fair share of fires. People who live in that shit hole Calgary have absolutely no right to talk shit about Buffalo. It's easy to mock something that you have absolutely no idea about.

I grew up in Southwestern Ontario and spent enough time in Buffalo to know that it's a cesspool (my apologies to actual cesspools), so I know what I'm talking about, thank you very much.

Calgary is a shit-hole? That's rich! That's like a Nickleback fan calling the Hip shitty!

Don't worry - I'm sure there are cities somewhere in the world that are worse than Buffalo. I've just never been to any.

..and this has what to do with DMB allegedly sucking??

The jackass who originally dissed Buffalo just because Mike is from here and happens to like DMB was a moron for doing so. Let's just drop it.
