I packed my Hipclub card away so I haven't logged in to THC to see what the hell you guys are talking about.
bt.etree seems to be working fine.

Lance, please ask your Hosting company to apply the patch to PHP if they have not done so already!

Seems to be a lot of this crap happening lately. Damn script kiddies.
Just happened a few days ago to AVCANADA.CA (an aviation forum):

I hope it doesn't hit the base...*knocks on wood*
I did notice that when logging onto the hip club, It would tell me that the security certificate was invalid...so there's a sign...right?

I am not sure what they are talking about. They are usually changing from a 4.3.x to 4.3.10, no big changes just bug fixes. If they are changing from 3.x or moving to 5.x yeah there would be problems, but the majority are running 4.2.x or 4.3.x
Our hosting company sent out a warning Monday morning letting everyone know they are upgrading that night because of security concerns.
Make sure you have a backup of your site and a dump of your database to make sure you are safe. There is a fix for phpBB, but is only protects against the worm and not from the php hole.

It's still "out of order". How long is it gonna take to fix?? I actually never signed up for THC...so is there going to be a lot of stuff lost if the site is corrupted? I know it's only got the couple of unreleased songs from IVL on it, but are there photo archives or anything else cool that you'll miss if it doesn't come back?

i'm just wonderin if they'll still send out information about pre-sales and stuff. if what somebody mentioned earlier in this thread, that all of peoples information is stored on a separate database than it hopefully should not affect things like that, being that the e-mails they send out are not connected to the actual site itself.

Hacking the Hip Club seems like a waste of time...whoever did it probably thought they were being a real badass taking out what seems like the Hip's fan club, but little did they know most of us have little respect and even less use for it. I think these days THC ranks just below a good fart in terms of practical usefulness.
