The Hip Club has been defaced...
#1

go check this out thehipclub and see....I hope its not dangerous....

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Very strange indeed. And Google doesn't come up with anything for "NeverEverNoSanity WebWorm generation 13."

My info is probably out of date anyway, so I'm not sure I am too concerned, but chances are the info isn't stored on the webpage directly, but likely on a remote and encrypted server, so chances are you're ok. I wouldn't worry yet. Das hips will probably release a statement about it soon, anyhow.

lol

I doubt the Hip will release anything about it, considering they seem to have forgotten about it...

Hey remember when devoted hip fans didn't have to pay to get a b-side?

Hmmm...some disgruntled fan, perhaps? Or is it management's way of eliminating it: "Sorry fans, a worm ate the data; it was fun while it lasted...muwahahahahahaa."

I think management did a bang up job of eliminating it pre-worm. That "never-updating" was a neat trick.

Essentially somebody has gained root access to the server thehipclub.com is hosted on and has changed the web pages. Probably due to the lack of administration being done on the server that houses thehipclub.com.

Also the SSL certificate expired May 30/03.
