I am feeling confident about 50MC being played. I also am hoping for Grace, Fully, Springtime, Locked, and 100th...all quite possible.

I do feel they will pull out 1 or 2 odd ones, maybe Escape, Chagrin, Long Time Running, Boots, Daredevil, Greasy, Pistols, something like that.

What I would die for is a little Unplucked Gems --> Dire Wolf! I really miss that from the IVL tour!

Off the new CD I am pulling for Copenhagen, Melt, and Gus!

I think it will be a 3 encore night!

Seeing as though they hit Ottawa the next night might cut that short, depending on the crowd I'm thinking...I am sure they won't dissapoint and neither will the Hip!!

thats one of the most realistic setlists out there, there actually a chance for that one unlike most dream lists posted on hipbase

I doubt the setlist will be that different than the rest of the tour... I'd be surprised if they pull out all these gems just for one night on the tour, DVD or not.

That said, we might get 'combos'... ie. they've played LTR, Boots & now I see they pulled out Daredevil the other night... but they've only played one of the 3 on any given night. I could see us perhaps getting 2 of them in TO.... but I doubt we'll see Another Midnight come up out of nowhere....

Note: This does not apply to 50MC.... they always seem to resurrect that for TO... and I've got no problem with that!

yes.

I think the acc show is gonna be less IBE then the other shows on this tour if the dvd is being filmed....which is good as long as I can hear heart of the melt live which they skipped at Canada Day...and 3 Pistols.....and...and....and....

ps.

Gems/Dire Wolf is a wicked wicked combo, I totally thought it would stick around longer...

anyone seen the Dark Canuck live? what did it sound like?

I remember seeing Dark Canuck at the Molson Amphitheatre just after IVL came out and it was ... whatever ... no one was really into it, because it was too new. Which is a shame, because it is an awesome, awesome song. I was thinking the whole time, "if half the people who are wearing the Canada capes and the Maple Leaf underwear would just stop clamouring for NOIS for a moment and listen to the damn lyrics, this would be their favourite song ever."

But that's, like, six or seven different thread/arguments that are endlessly rehashed all the time, so I'll stop.

but this Gems/Wolf combo sounds like my own personal nirvana ... I've never heard it before - I'm a bit fetishistic about Gems, and Dire Wolf is the best song on IVL.

everyone hands up,
CT

Dark Canuck was one of the coolest live songs ever. I remember in Calgary with the lights down and the spotlight on Gord the music stopped and he asked the crowd "do you need a good connection for drugs?". Wicked.

I'm going to the show. You know what? I have my preferences just like everyone else, but I don't care what they play!!! I know the show is going to rock very hard.

For the most part I agree with fingernails, whatever they play will rock very hard, but I do have a few songs I hope they play.

Fully Completely (strong possibility)
Yawning or Snarling (doubt it)
Bring it All Back (also doubtful)
Are We Family (possible)

Otherwise, I'm just ready to rock!
