Springtime's one of my favorite songs of TATH, for three reasons: the bluesy groove, particularly at the beginning, the trademark mid-period Hip quiet-song-gradually-building-into-raging-loudness technique (cf. Locked, Grace, and Daddy), and -- most primarily -- that amazing key shift in the "screaming from the rooftops" part of the chorus. Gets me every time.

Gotta say I've never really liked Scared, and it's been played at almost every show I've been to( total of eight now). Thompson Girl is another I can pass by.

Like most others, I think it's great that fans don't all gravitate to the same songs (with a few exceptions) and that most people notice their tastes and favourites change as the years click by. These are both very good signs.
A couple of songs that I only clicked with on a limited level are Silver Jet and Butts Wiglin.
Both Tiger and Springtime are favourites of mine because of the great atmosphere they create, and their slow-burn build which gets me every time.

Scared?!? That's one of my candidates for finest Hip moment!! :? I'm astonished by this choice, but hey...it's not like we're all the same, just inconsistent.

It must be a Canadien anthem as it's not mentioned, but Wheat Kings is a mood killer live...boring. It slowed Darien to a crawl this past weekend.
Like others, I think something else off of Fully would have been better than Courage, something else off of IVL instead of It's a good life, and by all means, skip NOIS, especially in Buffalo.

I can't believe Wheat Kings Killed the live mood in Darien. I love that song and have always loved it live. It's seemed really well received when I've seen it, but it has always been an encore.
As for "A Good Life.." They didnt' play it in Sudbury and I was really happy. That to me, is a set killer. Sadly, because I love the song.
