i think he said you`re our boy....was reading in the sun today about lucas and i guess he toured with the tea party, papa roach and i mother earth in some capacity

I was pretty impartial to the end, and then it finally hit me that Dilana had the most talent. I'm glad she didn't win though, 'cause Supernova will be forgotten by this time next year. But, I think Dilana will see success and will probably make a better career for herself.

Dilana will probably do OK if she hires a team of writers to write her CD for her. I thought any of her orignal stuff that she did was garbage (the first Supernova song that they were given to write lyrics to, the "songwriting clinic" with Gilby and her Super Soul song.) Gilby offered to help her write and produce her CD but really, what the hell has Gilby Clarke done? He was a touring guitarist for GNR hired after Izzy quit and only appeared on the Spaghetti Incident CD, and I think that was all covers anyways.
Lukas winning didn't surprise me at all... I had him picked to at least be in the final 3 from the first couple weeks.
I think the ones that didn't win will be better off than Lukas because after the CD and tour, I can't see the band formerly known as Supernova doing anything else. On a side note, maybe they should change their name to some stupid symbol like Prince did.
I thought that Gilby's comment to Magni was really stupid (like most of the drivel that came out of Gilby's mouth over the past couple months). He said that Magni seemed like more a part of the House Band than a frontman for the band. Is the singer/frontman not supposed to be part of the band? I think that Gilby didn't want to share the guitar playing spotlight with anyone.
Overall, I thought there were some good performances on the show this season and some really, really bad ones (all of Zayda's performances and Dilana's Psycho Killer come to mind immediately.) I thought that Ryan, Toby, Magni, Storm and Lukas' originals were all better than any of the Supernova songs I heard.
It will be interesting to see if they do this again next year and what band they will get to do it. I will watch next year if they do it again just to see the House Band doing various covers with the different singers.

Jordis is a good example of what happens to those who don't win...that doesn't necessarily translate into a good thing...a year later and she's no where to be heard from. I love her voice, but where's the cd? You have to capitalize on the opportunity given to you...wait too long and you'll be forgotten this day and age. Where is Marty Casey, Mig??? Dilana has a decent voice but to me that's it...I way prefer Jordis to her.

We all know there have only been two supergroups in the history of time: The Travelling Wilburys and The New Pornographers.
Why didn't Lukas take Comfortably Numb after the girl gave it up? He was dying to sing it and then it's offered and he just refuses? Stubborness? I don't know.
hock: I'd say she was the least talented of the final three and I don't really care for the other two that much. I think that Australian dude was the best singer though.
