I personally don't care what they play, I'll listen to it. I like surprises. Daredevil, Gems, Sherpa and Lionized were really nice surprises at the Charlottetown show in June.

Actually, I put both "The Drop Off" and "Try"

which would make it two songs....

and since I havn't heard Oceans or Pretend, I've actually put 50% of the new material I have heard onto this wish list...(I left out View and Rink)

But hey, im not opposed to a third encore where they play World Container in completion.

I don't see the point of a wish list thread for the next tour, when the album hasn't even come out yet. But I know I wish that they play at least 90% of the new album when they do tour.

I recall hearing an interview with the band after M@W was released, and Gord S talking about how they were working on a heavier version of "The Bear" to be played live. Well, per the database, it's never been played live, and it's my favourite Hip song, so if I could see it played, however they wanted to play it, it would make my year!

OKAY ... with the imminent tour announcment, I'm bumping this mofo, so we can start the on-line song requests, and bring them to MAv's attention, so he can exert pressure on the band to give the hardcores (that's us) what they're (we're) clamouring for ...

If you'll recall some earlier posts, it's never been played live and so therefore could never be a song of the day ... let's right this egregious wrong and have the Hip start out a concert with this, with the lights off for the whole thing, and then bust in to My Music at Work ... which is what happens when I'm driving, listening to M@W, and the CD restarts at the end of Pines.
