Wishlist for the next tour
#1

Live setlist updater. I know that it's probably not feasible, but honestly, there are few things I'd rather be doing this evening is finishing my Heineken and hitting refresh every two minutes to see what was played.

Can't wait for the reviews. Hopefully some new debuts!

Cheers,

Pat

wishlist eh..

-do like Pearl Jam make all the shows available for download, that would be fantastic.

-another "evening with" type tour just for the fall/winter months this year, then do a ARA type tour next summer (a person can dream)

-play No Threat more, and make Rink a setlist staple

-come back to London Ontario!!!!!!

Thats all.

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

play your own F#&king town!!!! im sick of not seeing them in Kingston, even though the Strippers have played here alot, Gord S and Paul played at Woodenheads recently, and Gord D is playing here next week.

Also its my fantasy to hear both Thugs and Locked live ( i did hear Locked at Accross the Causeway, but i barely knew them then - too bad, cause they played Escape Too)

For their next tour......hmmmmm.

How about DONT BE AFRAID OF WINDSOR?????????

Surely all the road miles logged by Windsor hip fans has earned us a show in our own city.

I remember Rob saying something in Saint John to the affect that they they couldn't bring the show that they were doing to Kingston, as no arena or venue had rafters and whatnot strong enough to support all the screens and lights that they had with them.

Personally, I could care less about screens and lights, and the simple solution would be to leave them out of certain shows, but I'm no tour manager, so I don't know how it works,

I know I'm dreaming, but play somewhere in the midwest. St. Louis would be great, but even Indianapolis is feasible for a one-day trip from here. If no such luck exists, Chicago is always an option as well.

The live setlist thing is easily doable... last night I put each song as it was played into my cell phone. I'll check with my tech experts and see if I can set it up so that I (or anyone who wants to help out - one person per show) texts the song title to an email address that updates a webpage. I can already email complete posts to my hipfans.com blog, so a setlist should be easy...

Jeez man, when was the last time you simply took in a Hip show in it's entirety without the hassles of recording or some other activity that distracts from the show?

You're good people Chris...prince among men for all your contributions to the community.

Chris, or anybody, we can talk about this as I have already built most of the pieces, but I haven't figured out a couple of parts, like who would actually do the live play-by-play, as I have enough going on pretty much.

If there were volunteers with web accessible phones, then we can do it easily. I could hook up text message/phone updates - at least with Canadian networks - for those that didn't want to be online

I have all the pieces and would put them all together if there is interest.
