The Plant bootleg is from Sausalito California isn't it? I love that version of Membership too... And Scared is fantastic "...They're phasing my job out ma."

Membership is one of my personal faves. I always thought it had a really great chorus, and I love Robby's guitar solo near the end.

You guys seriously don't know how much I love Membership!

Friends and I used to go and get drunk under this bridge that basically connected Greenwood and Kingston (NS) and I would be sitting there in the sand, totally out of it, staring at this river bubbling past and I'd be like...

"RI-VER WI-I-I-I-IDE, RIVER WON-DER US.."
At the top of my lungs. And then my friends would think I'd had enough and try to cut me off...

This talk of the song membership reminds me of how the song came about. If I recall correctly, didn't one of the guys mention in an interview that it was written as a wedding (first dance) song for someone close to the band??

Vapour Trails has become one of my favourites in the past year. It is great to listen with the headphones and just cracked!

Vapour Trails is such a great driving song. Nothing says, "Yes, I am cooler than you..." like getting caught SCREAMING: "Throw Away The Rudder!!" at a red light.

Agreed. I remember listening to PP, and specifically Vapour Trails on the swim team bus on the way to meets. My teammates loved my scream-alongs
