That 3 1/2 hour Watchmen show at the Continental in Buffalo was magic.

Danny to the crowd upon taking the... uhh... stage: "Wow... (Surveying the... uhh... club) you've got a real nice place here."

The guy at the door told me it was the best "Filthy hole to see a concert in New York."

That was great!! That was the 2nd time that Danny had referred to the Continental as a "nice place". Hilarious
I have been checking into the guys' solo careers...still wish they hadn't broken up though

Any way..5 albums to own:

1) DMB...Before These Crowded Streets (Beanmedic's favorite too  )
2) Dark Side Of the Moon and The Wall
3) SloMotion...The Watchmen (Silent Radar is just as awesome)
4) Neil Young...On The Beach, also Greendale
5) Sarah McLachlan..Fumbling Towards Ecstacy

Head up Jen! Onwards and upwards, right? I'm actually really liking the guys' new stuff:

Obviously Thornley (with Ken Tizzard) is making huge waves on both sides of the border, as evidenced by the Leno appearance last month...

Danny Greaves' new project "Doctor" plays their first ever gig tonight at the Horseshoe as part of the NXNE...their first single really grows on you after a few listens (available at maplemusicrecordings.com for anyone who's interested), and the CD is due out in August...

And IMHO, the best of the three could be the sleeper...If the mp3s available on Joey Serlin's site are any indication of what's to come, they guys could very well go 3-for-3 in branching out (likely in three decidedly different target demographics)...
