don't mean to be the bitchy person reposting this request again, but the more posts that pile up, the less of a chance my original plea will be read...anyone want to help out a loyal fan stuck outside of Philadelphia...no acess to puretracks...and certain out of reach of canadian radio....I'd really really really appreciate it.

I'm listening to the song for the umpteenth time as I'm sure everyone has tonight. It may not be as strong a song as we had hoped, but let's be a little thankful the band has released two songs before the record is released...I don't think I need to remind anyone about how late Goo Life was released.

I feel like I am th eonly one who really really liked this song. Complaints about un-reached notes... I think that that is part of Gord's style in a lot of songs.
I don't know, I think it is great and I will have it cranked for the next 41 days.

this one kind of reminds me of "are you ready." the first time i heard that i thought i'll never like that song ever. but it came around and i wound up really liking it. "summer......" certainly didn't make me do backflips but as everyone says, give it a few listens. gord does seem to be out of his range on this one.

So far I really enjoy it. I wish I could understand a little more of his lyrics, but what evs. That's what the lyric books are for.
To me it has a little bit of Putting Down, Something On, Trickle Down even. Vocally, it kind of like how he sung Wild Mountain Honey.
My stuffed up two cents. Stupid allergies.
Cheers
Pat

I love this song! As usual, it took me a few listens to get the hook.
As for those unreachable notes, I think that's intended. I'm pretty sure this song is about some young people forming a band and writing songs for the first time. Maybe it's an autobiography?

i loved both singles right from the the first listen ... the thing that these seem to be lacking that radio singles often have are catchy sing along choruses... vaccination scar practically has none and Summer's killing us has that little "sing, sing sing all day" part but all in all not a real stick in your head sing along type of thing...
hey i'm not complaining that's just an observation, i fuckin' love this tune... the "this tune'll do ya like the dishes" line had me smiling and dancing the first time i heard it. and obviously the woo is priceless.
now this wait is killing me but the two wicked singles'll keep me busy till then.
