The roughness of the music is what makes it great. Adam Kasper uses a very live-off-the-floor approach to recording, with little or no overdubs. Personally I think it's fantastic. The Hip are essentially a live band, so why not record them that way. This is about as close to what they sound like live as you're gonna get on a studio album. I love it! :thumb:
