3 hours in a theatre is long enough. Your ass goes numb. Ive watched the first two at home in sucession but that's with the ability to pause and take a snack or washroom break.

Truth be told, i find the LOTR books hard slogging, they bog down in the places where there is no action besides talking happening. I find its the same with Terry Brooks...he's a great author but when he is musing about the motivations of his characters he can get very long winded. I think making a movie based on the Shannara series would be awesome! any takers?
