Bobcaygeon by The Tragically Hip
Tabbed by Steve Fissel (<!-- e --><a href="mailto

I've seen all the other versions of this song and I still felt that
they were all missing something so, I've done up my own version in open
G tuning, I didn't bother to do lead, but if anyone wants to give it a try
feel free to add to this tab. This song has alot of pedal guitar over the
break so some of those chords may be incorrect.
Thanks to Steve Proulx for providing the chords for the break.

(MAIN RIFF)
I left your house this morning
about a quarter after nine
could of been the willy nelson
could have been the wine
Bm C/D
when I left you house this morning
G Am7/11
it was little after nine
Bm
It was in Bobcaygeon
C/D
I saw the contellations
G Am7/11
Reveal themselves one star at at time
(MAIN RIFF)
Drove back to town this morning
With workin on the line
I thought of maybe quitting
I thought of leaving it behind
Bm C/D
Went back to bed this morning
G Am7/11
and as I'm pulling down the blinds
Bm C/D
yeah the sky was dull, and hypothetical
G Am7/11
and falling one cloud at at a time
Em C
That night in toronto with it's checkerboard floors
G D
riding on horseback and keepin order restored
Em C
till the men they couldn't hang stepped to the mikes and sang
D D7
and their voices rang with that aryan twang
(Main Riff)
I got to your house this morning
Just a little after nine
in the middle of that riot
I couldn't get you off my mind
Bm C/D
So I'm at your house this morning
G Am7/11
Just a little after nine
Bm C/D
cause it was in Bobcaygeon where I saw the constellations
G Am7/11
reveal themselves one star at a time
Bm C/D G Am7/11 Em C D D7

Now play the main riff lots of times while there is a keyboard
(maybe hammond organ?) solo.
