Those '93 playoffs were classic. I didn't really become a Rangers fan until around 96-97. As a kid Wayne Gretzky was my idol so i was always a Kings fan, and the Leafs were always (and remain) my 2nd favorite team.

I was in chapters bookstore yesterday, and passed the sports literatiure section. My eye caught Barilko: Without a Trace by Kevin Shea.
There is an entire chapter entitled "50 Mission Cap" dedicated to The Tragically Hip inside this book. I took 10 minutes to give it a skim, and it is really good. Lots of interviews questions with the band about their favourite hockey teams, and how they viewed the Barilko story, and how the song was formed into the classic it is today. Anyone interested in buying the book and typing up an excerpt for the base to read?
