Yop, they just said Sam's on in like 2mins......CBC radio 1....
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

My wife and I saw SRB open for Ben Kweller here in Columbus this past Thursday - they were good, although not the best I've seen them. They opened with The Gate and played a good mix of songs which included a ~ ten minute long version of Paranoia and another ~ 10 minute version of Mind Flood which was super heavy and rocking. The best part was we got to meet most of the band after the show - got our pictures taken with Sammy, Dave, and Eric - also got to meet Josh...all in all a very very awesome night. When I get a sec I'll upload the pic of my wife and I with Sam - he was wearing a funny little leather hat that I'm not really sure how to describe. He is just a cool guy. They all are - very down to earth guys who seemed to really appreciate having people come out to see them play. The experience truly made me more of a fan of the group. The highlight was definitely talking with the guys - Sam talked about how they are trying to get a following in the states and the tour thus far. I told Eric that I had never heard of Ben Kweller before and amusingly he said that he also had not heard of him prior to going on tour with him. Eric also mentioned that he had listened to World Container (!!!) and thought it was really great to hear The Hip's new direction. I only talked to Josh for a moment - but it was funny - I asked if James would be coming out to talk and meet fans and he said 'no...he's already in his jammies'. Ha!
