Bob? You mean ... Bob Rock?!? The antichrist is producing WC?!?

Dammit, why am I always the last to know?

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I agree. And we've already had a little taste from WC, and personally, if the tunes most of us have heard already are the best on the album, its sure to be a great record.

I've been out of the loop and loopy on grease paint since forever. Is there a release date for the first single?

8. Apparently out of ideas, Gord has penned songs including Locked in a Gift Shop and Escape is at Hand for Gus the Polar Bear from Central Park .

7. This time, the Hip Club is an actual wooden club meant for use on people who think the band hasn’t released a good album since Fully Completely

6. Continuing the Hip’s environmental slant, the disc is made of tofu and the packaging is made of a biodegradable jelly Gord invented in his basement.

5. Impressed with Pearl Jam’s latest effort, band plans to place a kiwi on the cover.

4. Long-awaited release of Toronto #5.

3. Playing the disc backwards reveals that Paul has been dead since Trouble at the Henhouse.

First single "In View" On radio in two weeks
Nope. This is the best post EVER!
Seriously. I am so psyched to finally hear some actual news.
I was actually wondering today what the album might be called. I was thinking they may go for the natural hat trick of albums starting with "In"

Anybody recall any examples of Gord ranting and the word's "In View" comming up? Perhaps he managed to rant some lyrics into a song throughout the tour?

Look for a "Why the hell don't they have a machine?" rant on the upcoming tour.

Rumor has it that the working title for "World Container" was "Great Escape" and "In View" is loosely based on a relationship with a "personal friend of the band" that turned, well, let's say somewhat "stalkerific". She has Gord In View and won;t stop calling him, etc...
