For anyone interested, link to The Gate Video:

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://mfile.akamai.com/14590/rm/ondemandrm.chumtv.com/video/artists/s/sam_roberts/gate_the_full.rm">http://mfile.akamai.com/14590/rm/ondema ... he_full.rm</a><!-- m -->
(you need real player 10 to play it)

I kinda like the video although someone posted over on BtoB (where link was found) that the guys looked a little "uninterested for a rock video." After watching it a second time, I would have to agree...

Yes.

Canon Digital Rebel - I have a few lenses, I'll check all the data and post later.

I never liked Stages but if I was back in Kingston I would have made an exception for this.

So are other Hipbasers meeting up tonight at Brass Taps? The one on Carlton? What time?

Matt

There are at least 4 with me, and 3 from the SRB forum that are meeting there.

Carlton near Parliament, south side. 6 - 6:30'ish.

Here's a 40mb sample of some of my footage from last night. This is raw footage that I just grabbed before I headed to work. If you've got a negative comment about it, keep it to yourself because I don't want to hear it. (Save it or stream it through Quicktime.)

DVD is at least 1 month away. I won't start on it until I get back from vacation on May 28.

Awesome Chris Chris! With all the searching that the autofocus needed to do with the lights last nght - the raw footage actually came out pretty good!

I am quite pleasantly surprised with that!

Yup, that is awesome Chris! I got to the Phoenix late so I wasn't able to meet up with anyone. Maybe next time.

As always, SRB put on a great show.

Pretty dam sure I heard on CBC radio one I think it is,we get a pretty crappy signal here @work, they will be talking with Sam on Friday mornings programming.
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought,compromised,detoured,lured away,turned back,diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice,hesitate in the presence of adversity,negotiate at the table of the enemy,ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!
