I always kinda thought Don't Wake Daddy had a lyric like:
On paws they wander, they pause and wonder...
I just assumed the lyric had this clever little homonym thing going on, considering the previous lines are about a sled dog. I was rather surprised to see this wasn't actually the case.

today's song-of-the-day reminded me of Three Pistols.
The line was:
Little girls come on Remembrance Day
Placing flowers on his grave
She waits in the shadows 'til after dark
To sweep them all away
I had originally heard:
She waits in the shadows 'til after dark
Just a supermall away.

I was always a little sad listening to Springtime in Vienna because I thought the lyric was "we'll live to survive our pair of dachshunds"
not "We'll live to survive our paradoxes".
