All of the Olympic gear is sold at The Bay and Zeller's isn't it??

Good luck finding any of it....

For a scarf? I'd probably have to pay for it, pay for gas, buy her a meal when we get there, a meal when we got back.

Then MAYBE she might be nice. :nooooo

I"m in Inuvik NT so my only option is online unfortuneatly...

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Looked up your town on Wikipedia (bored at work). Quite the interesting place. Nice hospital. Actually makes it look cheerful.

In saying interesting, I was referring to the above ground water/sewer system (according to wiki of course I'm taking their word on it; something I've never seen), the 30 days of darkness (with the sunrise celebration advertised on the town's website), and your multi-coloured hospital that looks like andrew lloyd webber designed it.

Ahh I get ya, Ya its definatley Unique with the Untilidors(above ground sewer system) the darkness is something to be reckoned with, I'm a southern by birth so when your use to the sun setting/rising on a regular basis for 30 years it really throughs your internal clock off when it don't happen for a month.same goes for the 24hr daylight during the summer.

All of the Team Canada clothing - hoodies, jackets, scarves, hats, mitts, etc. sold out both in stores and on-line before the Olympics even started. It was really poorly planned by HBC in my opinion. Olympics are on, in my home country, and I can't even purchase stuff to support my team/country.

If you look on ebay though, I think you can find that black jacket for no less than $250 (they sold in stores for $100).

I'm not sure if you can blame them - for the last two Olympics they lost quite a bit of money on their Olympic gear. Obviously the stuff was going to be more popular this time around but they clearly didn't think they would be this popular. For example, when I flew to Vancouver on the 17th pretty well everyone on the plane was dressed in either HBC Team Canada gear or Hockey Canada gear. I got a one of the full zip hoodies at the bay in downtown Toronto the day before the opening ceremonies and they still had quite a good selection then. I heard that after the games started though they had to remove the stuff from stores across the country to ship it to Vancouver to meet the unprecedented demand there. People were literally lined up for hours just to get into the Bay in downtown Vancouver during the games.
