Is it possible that this tape has been bought up by the band themselves and the mysterious new tracker member TheTape is providing us a cleaner version anonymously?

A cleaner version is on the tracker now? How much cleaner sounding is it?

Ok, so when I was in NY, I asked about this tape and this is what I know to date.
It was recorded at Phase One Studios - same place portions of World Container were recorded.
It was after the EP and before Up to Here.
It was recorded on a half inch 24 track tape and in the end, each song was reduced to one tyrack on the tape. Thus, there are 24 songs from this recording, of which, most appear on the tape.
The actual "tape" from the sessions, the half inch, should be in "the vault" some where.
That's the update that I have. Not much, but better than what you had before.

Thanks for a little more depth to this tape. Nice to know the original should still be around, and also, that another 7 songs are locked away!

Track 2 on the Facebook tape is called "Cain and Abel" -- a working title for "Get Back Again" or more religious imagery?
