I think this should be the place to discuss the songs, now that some of us are starting to complete our downloads. Leave the thread in the Download fourm for downloading issues.
So, here goes. First bit of news is that Mr Dame is going to have to change an entry or two at the Museum. Turns out Nuclear Barbeque has been titled "It's So Easy" from the 1988-07-15 Horseshoe show.
I love revising history.
Cheers,
Pat

I find the way that Three Pistols changed phenomenal. It's a mediocre song at best on the tape, and they evolved it into one of their best.

Yeah, it's crazy how it sounded like a throwaway on the demo and how it turned into something amazing in a matter of two albums. "Times Are Passing Us By" is the highlight for me, though.

I was shocked at how different "Just Another Midnight" is from "Another Midnight." Really, all there is a similar cord progression and the phrase "another midnight".
Running For My Life and Waltz for Julliete are standouts I think.

Any chance that these can be posted as MP3's on The Hundredth Meridian site, or Download of the Week? That would be spectacular...

We work so hard to keep high quality files, and then you decide to post MP3s...

It seems that lots of people want them... and I though that we have means to determine if something has been mp3'd. I did the test and determined that one of my sources was mp3'd in the past.
I'm sure the people who want high quality versions of the files will continue to use FLACs... and people that download these files will know that they are mp3s and that higher quality versions exist.
I just don't really understand why it is such a 'no-no' if the demand for the mp3s is there. I think it's all about personal choice: some people want mp3s.
