that has been the book on Maxim so far in his short NHL career.....he has trouble finishing but he will put you on the edge of your seat when he's motoring out there with the puck.

I love that Brett Hull plays for the U.S. and not canada even though he's canadian . But yes they did need a shake up.

I think I speak for a nation when I say I love it too, especially since he wouldn't have even made Team Canada. We'll gladly give you our leftovers. Want Messier? Take em. He'd fit right in.

im sure there is still that feeling that one of your own and one of the best players in this era of the game sided with the BIG BAD HATED AMERICANS!!
sure he wouldnt have made this years team but he most certainly would have made the 98 olympic team and possibly the 2002 team.

The funny thing is that since he's always played for Team USA, I've never really thought of him as being Canadian. Besides, he's more like Tkachuk, Roenick, and Chelios (mouthy, arrogant, in love with himself) than any Canadian players I can think of.
You can keep Brett. We got Janet Jones. Needless to say, we get the better end of that deal. :lol:

the reason he's played for USA instead of Canada is because he couldn't make Team Canada to start with. so what'd he do? well, instead of working even harder to make the team next time he decided he'd rather be a turncoat and go play for the USA, mmmhmmmm, true story. he really really really wanted to play for Canada but in the end he decided he'd just have to settle for the USA instead.
