bauer Wrote:I absolutely love the white stripes. Jack shreds his axe. I saw them 2 summers ago in Vancouver. We were second row center right in front of Jack. One of the best shows I have ever seen. Top five for sure which puts them up there with The Dead, Pink Floyd, CSNY and Neil Young. I love all of their albums so far and am very excited to hear the new one. I hope they come a little closer this time around.

Was it at the Plaza of Nations? I was at that show too, it was awesome eh.

Well I don't remember the order or anythin', but the thing that struck me the most was the abundance of older songs IE Same Boy You've Always Known, We are Gonna Be Friends, Screwdriver. I think they only did 4-5 songs from Icky Thump (You Don't Know what Love Is, Icky Thump, Catch Hell Blues and Effect and Cause.) Started the show with Dead Leaves, and finished it with Boll Weevil.

(If anyone asks you people, who sang you this song, you tell 'em it's Jackie White! He's done been here and gone!)

All in all, an awesome show. Deer Lake park is one of my favourite venues too.
