Ahhhhhh shite. I f'n hate Italia and want them to lose the final. Having said that, they deserved to win. Class defending, goalkeeping, and two finishes. Plus, none of their usual bullshite clutching, grabbing, and diving. If they would play like that all the time, my hate level would decrease.

should be a hell of a game...
I stand by my previous statement, France will take it.
I think Germany will beat Portugal to finish 3rd.

btw, what are the odds of the game ending up 1-0? 1.00001:1? The two teams have allowed four goals combined; the only goal the Italians conceded was an own goal. For no apparent reason: Henry scores, France locks down, wins World Cup.

That was a great world cup, the reffing wasnt great for the most part, but the soccer was fantastic, cant wait for the next one.

I saw Materazzi play in pre-season last year when Inter came to Portsmouth, he struck me as a very dirty player, always on the wind up, always mouthing off!

Zenith, good find on the looping headbutt.
My gut reaction is Materazzi said something racist (Zidane's family is from Algeria). That or something like you're past it old man, I own you. Either way, Zizou obviously lost the plot and got too wound up. He does have a hsitory of letting his Mean Streak get the best of him (red card in group play in '98).
Edit: I originally typed Armenia. Algeria is the North African country across the Mediterranean Sea from France. I had a brain cramp.
