Not really a "workplace", but the hell with it. I'm a student at Mount Royal college, and this is its poorly designed website -

I'm the promotion director at Classic Rock 101 in Vancouver.

This was a great subject... it's cool to see what all the other fellow hipbasers do when they aint on tour with the hip!

Summerside Tax Centre to be exact. Oh the joy of processing taxes.

Do you have anything to do with the GST refunds for visitors? Thought I'd ask since I have a bunch I need to send in...... Smile

No, sorry. I've worked a few jobs at the centre but never in GST Visitor Refunds. I worked there one day actually when we ran out of work but I don't know much about that dep't. Mostly, I've worked with Income Tax returns in getting them in order and following a manual for coding certain things and such.

very funny. in my early 20's, i worked at a company here in portland that was owned by zales corp..!

i currently work for www.touchmark.com - they are comprised of many different types of living and or skilled nursing buildings. the one i work for is a skilled physical rehabilitation facility. my job primarily consists of doing ungodful amounts of paperwork for the state & making sure people are as happy as possible considering the physical problems/issues they're currently facing. for the most part i enjoy it, although for the last year i've been seriously considering making a break from portland and moving out to toronto - although, i always seem to stop considering it when i get hit with the reality of all the redtape and work permit paperwork, etc, etc, of it all.

okay so this is funny too, bc i went to highschool with a kid (don't remember them now) whos dad was the owner/original creator of bowflex. lol, i'm not so sure who owns the company now, although i think the homebase is still out of portland. i just remember the he/she wrote something in the back of my yearbook on the bowflex ad. i'm gonna have to go dig that out of a box now!
