Your workplace's website
#1

Hey folks...

I thought it might be an interesting idea to post my workplace's website here. If your workplace or company has a website, post it here. It'd be neat to know what everyone does for a living...

I'm a manager here:

Well, I am a construction estimator at http://www.clarkbuilders.com/ and will be for another week and a bit.

September 12, I start a new job as an Architectural Technologist at http://www.shearerdesign.com/ with the intention of moving up to be the leader of the drafting/AutoCAD department. I wasn't looking for work, but she made me a fantastic offer I just couldn't refuse.

I'm a partner at a print consulting and brokering company in Toronto called TwinPro Graphic Consultants. With "graphics" in our name, you'd think we'd have a killer website, but we are not designers, and so you get: www.twinpro.ca

I work for an office products company - and ironically, I run/maintain our website. I am not the original designer - it would like a hell of a lot different if I was.

Funny that you mention running into the TPB's. Mike Smith (Bubbles) ate on our patio two weeks ago... he was wearing sunglasses, but the chin was unmistakable. No surprise that he was with a lovely blond girl. And just last night, John Dunsworth (Mr. Lahey) and a female crew member had dinner on the patio. They had a Scrabble board on the table while they ate dinner. He literally had a rum and coke in his hand when he looked over at me as I was passing by. They are currently shooing the TPB feature film here in Halifax. I didn't get a chance to talk with either of them, though.

Love Mr. Lahey. Shit analogies are classic. My fav is the pompei analogy where Randy is like, "but Mr. Lahey that was lava, not shit." Awesome. His daughter is way hot too!

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!
